ADULT CAMP
Adult-Camp is a once-a-year, 5-day experience in traditional living on our farm - limited to 10 adults.
Dates: Tuesday June 29 – Saturday July 3, 2010
Lodging: Participants camp out in Adirondack-style shelters, cabins, or tipis.
Classes: Attend classes offered by Eustace that range anywhere from traditional wood carving w/ shaving horse and draw knife, to philosophy and blacksmithing.
Dining: Delights from our garden, are prepared in our outdoor, wood-fired kitchen. We serve all you can eat, healthy food fare in a family style setting.
Activities: Hands-on experiences are abundant throughout the day, which will be directed by Eustace Conway and his assistants. Wake each morning feeling refreshed by the sounds of nature. Greet and welcome the day at sunrise point, then gather in our outdoor, wood-fired kitchen for a down-home cooked breakfast. Help out with the barnyard animals, and enjoy a stroll on our endless trails and take a walk to the waterfalls. Learn to hitch a team and go for a buggy ride. Interact with our gardens and share in the wild edibles. Adult campers are guided and exposed to the many unique aspects of life at Turtle Island. Camps for adults are custom designed based on participant interest and focus.
Registration: To inquire further about the 2010 upcoming adult camp, please download a workshop registration form on our home page, and write a letter of interest - sharing what you might like to concentrate on most during camp. Send in with your deposit of half the total tuition cost to hold your space. Tuition: $650 per person - All meals, lodging, tools and materials are included in tuition.
