FAMILY CAMP

Turtle Island Preserve's Family Camps are scheduled throughout the year, and anytime 3 or more families contact Turtle Island wanting a program for their individual family group. Its a wonderful time to get away and get back to the basics. Reconnect with your family members and have fun on the farm!



Location: Base-camp at Turtle Island Preserve, an entirely unique old time farm and education center 8 miles outside of Boone, NC.

Lodging: Adirondack-style cabins/shelters and or tipis in and around Base-camp.

Our next Scheduled Family Camp: Will be during the summer 2011. We will also conduct special interest family camps for groups of 3 or more families.

Tuition: $80.00 per day age 11 and under
$100.00 per day age 12 and up

All tools, meals, materials and lodging are included. Age 3 and under - no charge.

Register: Available to families of all ages - email us at mail@turtleislandpreserve.com or call (828) 265-2267 - Leave a message with your name and date, your email address and phone number, and the ages of and number of people in your party.

Arrangements: Register for family camp by contacting the Turtle Island office by phone or email. A staff member will call you back to schedule your family and give instructions. You will receive a "What-to-Bring List" as well as a Medical and Liability form for each family member that will need to be completely filled out and send in ahead of time, prior to your arrival at camp. Please also send us a letter of introduction about your family's interests, needs and inspirations.
